NC RESPONSE AFTER HURRICANE FLORENCE
We are looking for volunteers to assist in NC with rebuild of some 550 homes after the recovery phase. The need is in the greater Warsaw NC region of the Eastern Baptist Association. Crews or mission teams will mostly do construction related projects like laying plywood flooring, sheetrock and mudding. Crews needed all throughout 2019. Please sign up through this site for details or if you have any availability in the coming year. All housing, showers and meals will be provided, teams just need to get themselves there.
Our North Carolina Disaster Relief partners are welcoming both trained and untrained volunteers willing to serve on flood recovery teams. This invitation is open to any of our DR volunteers as well as to church mission construction team volunteers who are not trained in Disaster Relief.
> If your church wishes to serve and your VOLUNTEERS ARE UNTRAINED, then doors will be open for you to serve as spontaneous mission teams. You will need to sign up through this volunteer hub.
Overall, our Disaster Relief New England Ministry wishes to support and serve in this time of need.
Our office will provide connections, scheduling and supplemental insurance for each volunteer.
