2021 Chaplaincy Training

He serves in Pennsylvania with our Region 3 Partner, Kenton Hunt. I have served with Bill on many callouts and know him to be knowledgeable, passionate and witty. He and his wife Sue are dedicated servants who love the Lord and DR. The following are Bill’s credentials. 2021 Barre, VT Spring Training      
This training is for ALL those interested in serving in Disaster Relief. Open to non-SBC members. Fri. Registration opens at 5p. Courses are 5:30-8:30p. The "Basic" and "Faith in Disaster Relief" entry level courses will be offered on Friday evening from 5:30 - 9:00p. (This is what allows for "Yellow Hat" badging- includes background checking). These two courses will be taught only on Friday evening. Sat. 8a Registration opens. Registration from 8a -9a; Courses are 9a - 4p. Lunch provided. Specialty courses being taught: (1) Chainsaw Recovery Modules 1 & 2 (2) Feeding Module 1 (online only - students can take this training by online video and have it certified at the "live" training) (3) Flood Recovery Modules 1 & 2 (4) Assessment 1 & 2 We invite you to be a part of this great couple of days of training with courses in various disciplines having to do with Disaster Relief. Every volunteer should attend and sharpen their skills. We will have the DR store open where people can purchase their gear (cash & check please). LOCATION: Faith Community Church, 30 Jones Brother Way, Barre, VT 05641. FEES: There is a $15.00 fee for credentials in the Basic Dr course and a $10.00 fee for the Banquet Lunch. Each SBC DR Servant Volunteer has to have a valid background check as part of their certification. There are additional costs for uniforms elements that will be available.
